Ouch, man... ouch... I obviously don't have the brainpower as you do, you win, congrats... that just hurt mah feelings there.

You are rarely on my team, so how do you know what I ALWAYS do. When I don't have someone busting out orders on my team, I take my part and do it myself since I'm not good with ordering people. And shit man, I just started practicing the support class, I've slowed down on the rifle. I think I even told you this yesterday.

I have toned down on the shovel AND only use it as a last resort, I've slowed down using it for two reasons. Monkey is so high in the ranking it will be impossible to reach him, thus resulting in my place in second/ third. And rifle is only truly effective long range, close range it kinda bones, so why the hell not run up and shovel his ass? And it's accurate enough, I've only ran up and had problems with it a handleful of times, practice mah man, practice.

Glad to hear you are practicing at other things. I just get tired of hearing all the bitching and complaining, not just from you, that is going on.

I mostly auto join teams, I don't hang back to see who's joining what team, or wait till enough people join the allies so I can join the axis. It seems to me that you avoid joining the team if I'm on it, whats up with that. And I don't want to hear that its because you want to play with your clan. I would prefer to play on my clans team as well, but mostly to keep teams even we end up on opposing sides. Occasionally we will get on the same team because its just nice to play with your own clan. But it seems like you are avoiding me, Monkey doesn't avoid me, Moo doesn't either, that just leads me to believe you don't like me.

also, shovel is what you do to humiliate unsuspecting mg-ers and snipers. or when you're out of ammo. or when the other guy is out of ammo :P. or end-of-round-free-kills.

and jello does use his mic for helpful purposes. he'll call-out sniper & mg positions. he'll ask for help at so-and-so point.

well if that isn't the cow calling the pig fat. let's take a look at your stats. more than a third, almost TWO thirds in fact, come from assault class. hell, the thompson alone is a third right there. allied assault class ALONE has more uses than ALL of the other non-assault, for BOTH teams. then add-in the wehrmacht assault, and you've got an assault specialist. which isn't a very versatile class i might add...

uh huh. in case you haven't noticed, he's been usin the stg more often. and maybe there's a goddamn reason he was stickin with the rifleman class. maybe it's a fairly versatile class, good in many situations. let's think about it for a sec: 1) good at all ranges 2) good for taking out mg's & snipers (gotta love rifle-grenades) 3) plenty of ammo 4) high accuracy 5) VERY high damage. your beloved assault class, on the other hand, is exclusively short range.

ok, i am sick of people saying shit like this. "it's in the game so it must be ok". ever consider that maybe the game designers didn't quite know what the fuck they were doing? and that one little key phrase there "without the assistance of another player". meaning that you can always get into any spawn, on any map, if you and/or someone else is determined to do so. hmmmm... let's see here... if he's picking teams to avoid you, as you claim, and his stats show he mostly joins werhmacht, that would lead me to belive you're usually allies... and most of the time i've seen you on lately, you were allies. now, what was that about you calling jello an unrounded player?

There are many uses for the SS button. In this case it could be used in combination with other evidence, i.e. logs, to paint a whole picture. But it alone by itself, with an arrow that IS photo edited into it, I might add, is not enough to draw a conclusion. I have seen IDF Avitar on the server as well. But just because his name is at the top does not mean that the player in the screen shot is him, he could have been elsewhere in the game.

I will concede that the above are all valid uses of the mellee weapon. However don't even try to make the claim that that is the only time Jello tries to use it. Many a time he runs right at me or others trying to shovel and gets filled with bullets. I have seen it many times.

I take a look at my team when picking a weapon and look to see what is the most needed class. Most of the time there are not enough assualt class so its usually the one I end up. I will switch to any other class when needed. For example an mg if defense is needed and the team doesn't already have one or two. A sniper to attack against other snipers and mg's. And by your own admission you think that the rifle is more versitle than an assault. That is purely your opinion we could debate endlessly about one weapon over another, what matters is that a team has a combination of classes for the situation. I get tired of hearing whiny ass crybabies that think map designers don't know how to make maps. This argument has been going on since the beta's. In the beta's you could get into the spawn areas pretty easily on most maps. Then they went to adding world kills that would kill an enemy when they got into a spawn area. Now in source they have eliminated the world kills and made it difficult, but possible to enter the spawns on several maps. The game and map designers have been doing their job for some time now and they know exactly what the fuck they are doing. It is only your OPINION that it is not a good idea. The map designers made the maps the way they did on purpose . They did think it was a good idea. As players we must use the resources we have to deal with it because they did put it in the game.

Once again, rifles aren't necessarily effective close range, a shovel is perfect for close range. And that's one of the reasons I'm choosing other classes, so don't pin me down with shit for saying that.

You should not belittle yourself. Everyone has an opinion and can voice it in their own way. I have never stated anywhere that you shouldn't post. But when you do post a topic in a public forum you must know that anyone can read it and reply to it.

I have stated that there are uses for a melee weapon, as well as all weapons, usefull. I have never stated that you shouldn't use any weapon. It has been apparent to me by reading other posts in this forum and your in game play that you were focusing on the shovel. By your own admission and MooMasters claim that you are learning to use other weapons then so much the better. Even if you don't and continue to play with the rifle and shovel then that is your right.

I am only offering my opinion. I have tried to make my point and I think I have. You can take what you like from what I have posted. As I said before, I am fond of you and Moo. I would not even bother to post if I didn't think that there was something that could benifit you or broaden your perspective on the game. I am not just a lurker that sits by and reads the posts, I put in my opion and that is all.

I'm glad you do put in your opinion, and glad we semi-sorted this out. I'm still confused but yeah, whatever. Point is, I'm naked. We can all drop the subject... except I still hold the opinion that spawn camping is gay and is unacceptable. You can hold your opinions, I can hold mine, but that still doesn't take away the fact that I'm sexy and I can shovel as well as Bob Vila can. And shit, he's in home improvement.
