well I have like a million different nicknames in the RL and Salty was an old middle-school nickname that kind of stuck
I chose 99 because it was a number that I could consistantly add onto the end of my name and 9 times out of 10, the name would still be availible.
...Then I joined SsT and people begin naming me other things... like darkenone started calling me "Salty Balls" you can only imagine what some of the other clannies started calling me...sigh

Re: How did you come up with your in game names?
Hitch is short for Hitchhiker. I was awarded a part in a mini-series called "The Hitchhiker". I tried out/auditioned 3 times and made it to the last cut. I was told by several that the part was mine. The Hitchhiker - The Series
When I went to complete the sign-in, the producer and a few of his crew had been arrested in Dallas for drug possession. The money people in Hollywood decided to break all ties with cast members that they had chosen due to the possible links...I was in college at UNT. I am still sad that I did not get the part, as it may have changed my life's direction. Shit. I hate true stories when they SUCK.

Re: How did you come up with your in game names?
We've had this type of thread at least twice when it was TTP but i never went into any detail.
Kind of a bunch of things went into my current name. Started as deathgod but right after creating it i went out of town for a month and when i came back i couldn't remember the password. I dont think i even got to play the damn game at this point so i added usmc. Deathgod itself came from a couple places. First one being back when you actually had to go to a game room to play good video games i always put god as my initials. In the corps ordnance is reffered to as pct's or population control technicians and i ran work center 71B Gun shop day to day. Above the door of every 71B work center you will see a sign that says Gun Gods. I found it kind of ironic to have been calling myself god in video games to end up with a sign hanging over my door also calling me one. So i just twisted everything together a bit and came up with deathgodusmc.
