NCAA Football Off-season

mainly wanted to start this as I heard on the news just recently, that ASU quaterback Threet is no longer playing due to multiple concussions (for note, I actually thought Threet was a pretty good QB, despite playing for the Scum Devils).

With that, figuring no-one would really care :P, anything interesting happening with your teams heading into the spring practices? I haven't heard anything about what is going on with Zona football yet, but hoping the team can finally get over the hump and play for the roses FINALLY (though, we'll need to fill the void of some of our defense players that left).

Is this the same Threet that transfered from Michigan?

Well from local news down here in da bayou, LSU is stacked at the secondary position...so much so they are moving players around just to get everyone on the field. Then there's the obvious new QB, Mettenberger. Jefferson will start against Oregon and if he doesn't completely botch it up, it will prolly stay that way.

Apparently we've also been devoting tons of time running the "wild tiger". Would be nasty with all the athletes we have on the team.

Sure enough. He wasn't all too bad at U of M. He just ended up not liking Rich Rods' shenanigans.

I'm kinda wanting to see Michigan rise back to power like they were back in the early decade. That and Ohio State is (or at least should) be heading down the tubes with Tressel. Can't stand the Buckeyes
