The lesson I learned today:
If you are buying an expensive item, only bid on ONE ITEM at a time. Individually, I had enough money to buy 3 separate amps, but winning 3 $550 auctions is not good.
Another lesson I learned:
Retracting a bid(apparently even for a legit reason, such as seller not mentioning damage to the item) makes you scum.
Another lesson I learned: When you were the only bidder on something and you retract your bid, the seller will do everything in his power to permanently blacklist you.

Bidding on 3 items at once? What is the logic behind that?
If you bid $500 on all 3, or $500 on just 1.......there's a LOT of people out there buying shit on ebay. IF it's worth more than $500, you win nothing. And if it's worth less....and your $500 bid stands.....you win it all.
So....yeah.....silly....never bid on more than of the same item.
I'm giving you negative feedback.

Oh no, Ravioli. You're definitely getting tagged as an e-Bay chump. One way to redemption is to apologize and explain that you learned your lesson. Reading the TTP banned forums is a great way to practice for that exercise. Isn't it fascinating how useful the TTP web site is?

Hahahaha....you should see the emails I got from the seller. He told me if he lived closer he would kick my ass...I think that's a little overboard...
No logic at all...I just got a debit card and it's WAY TOO EASY to bid on shit I can't afford with one little card number...I learned my lesson...

That's a terroristic threat, straight up. Threatening to hurt/kill you over the internet, regardless of the reason, is a no no.
Bust him, and be a hero.

Is Windows Vista Really the Most Gaming-Friendly Platform Out There?
Something from GF I intend to post here and on the Rogue forums:
A few months ago, I watched Microsoft's E3 conference, and I sternly remember the vice-president of Microsoft talk about all the good things about 360 and Live and Vista, but I caught something that I thought was a lie. I found that part on You-tube and it occurs at 4:10 in the following video.
YouTube - Microsoft E3 2007 Press Conference part 6
And here's the quote:
...and the launch of our most game-friendly operating system ever, Windows Vista."
So, I want to put a poll together to really see if his claim holds water. Is Vista really the most game-friendly operating system Windows ever put out? Furthermore, is it the most game-friendly operating system out there period?
Please don't be biased in this poll.
