Depends on who does it. If your going to do it yourself I would guess about 100 bucks for the parts. Letting someone else 4 or 5 hundred roughly. I do them for about 150 plus parts but i dont live there.

If its over 100k miles and hasnt had a tune up, its time. It could be a number of things as death has mentioned. If the fuel pump begins making a different noise its probably going out. but fuel pumps never seem to go out the same way. One goes out driving down the road the other just slowly loses pumping pressure... Try the codes, hopefully you'll get a good clue for the problem.

My dad told me today he has a scanner (I had no idea) so when I get home from work I'll hook it up and we will see how things look.

Also a plugged fuel filter will cause crappy starting. Usually though it doesn't happen overnight unlike your case.

Forgot to mention that the scanner came up with no codes.

well... try a tune up, plugs wires, fuel filter, oil change, cap, rotor, air filter, and see how it does, it all needs to be done anyway so...

No codes eliminates all sensors. However it does not eliminate all tune up parts, fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, bad injector, or dirty injectors. Tune up is your best option at this point in time. I can tell you how to do a top engine cleaner without paying 60 bucks at a shop. Just so you know it takes about 20 minutes and if you the liquid portion to fast you will vapor lock the hell out of the engine.

Well from the sounds of it a full tune up would take a while to do, wouldn't it? I don't mind doing it, its just that I really don't have much time until summer comes around, being a full time student during the week and having a part time time job during the weekends really constrains me.
