So found this through facebook today, and thought it would be something people might find interesting to check out. Personally I hated it xD, but not because it was bad. In the contrary, how good it was is what made me hate it, because it was incredibly hard to decide what the "right thing" was to do.
But yeah, check it out. What do you think about it? do you agree/disagree? etc.

Re: Moral Intuitions Test
pretty classic psyc moral test.
My answer: neither, not my place to choose and pass judgment, I'd not interact at all. Furthermore, natural selection is damn near a axiom of the universe ("Thats what happens when you stand on a fucking train track").

Scenario 2: Do not push the man off the bridge and let the four people die. Then push the man off the bridge.
Moral Justification: Steve is on the train's team."Murder and marriage aren't too much unlike each other, one ends your life, and the other is a crime"

Re: Moral Intuitions Test
To those saying neither, you're responsible for your action as well as your inaction. In the confines of this thought experiment it IS your place to choose and pass judgement. In each example you're directly capable of saving lives, if you choose not to you're responsible for their deaths due to your inaction. The toxic spill sounds more like a rationalization than anything.
Though I think we can all agree that there's way too many idiots on train tracks in all of this.

Re: Moral Intuitions Test
Meh, its the fire fighter in me. Seen to many would be heroes kill them selves or others. The difference between a hero and an idiot is the outcome. And I saw a neighboring fire dept deal with a train that derailed and spilled toxic chmicals. Not good. So if not qualified to operate train switches leave it the fuck alone.
