Thread: Michael leaving The Office :(

Surprised nobody made a thread on this topic does anybody even watch it? Well I will try and not spoil very much here, no major details, just kinda little things...
So I watched the last 5 episodes today and found it really sad Michael was leaving. The last episode was really sad I think when Jim took Michael into his own office and they..., talked.... Too bad... I really think they did a great job on the Michael leaving episodes, great job. I honestly think it could not have been better, still really funny, but also they actually made it have really sad emotions when he was leaving. I hope the new guy AFTER Deangelo Vicker (Will Ferrel) is as good, if not better than Michael. Yes Will Ferrel is NOT replacing Steve Carrel in the end, he will just be the boss for a few episodes until the REAL new boss comes in (they have not announced who it is...yet).

So what did you guys think about the last few episodes?

Didn't watch it as I think the Office is a bit.... Too awkward in a lot of moments for me. It kind of bugs me how awkward some moments are. But uhh, I wasn't really surprised. It has been news since the beginning of the season which Steven Carrell announced that he was leaving. I think that it was because he felt the series had gone on long enough. But uhh, I feel like they should've just ended it with Michael leaving. I really don't think they should continue without him.

The reason? It might turn into a Scrubs. After Season 8 when JD (Zach Braff) leaves, it was never the same. They tried to branch off with the supporting actors and that just didn't work out.

No man, they are smarter than Scrubs The reason they put Will Ferrels character in is so you won't like him, so that when the new boss comes in AFTER Will Ferrel, you will like him more.

Michael = FUNNY! Your supposed to like him.
Deangelo = funny but annoying and awkward and your not supposed to like him.
Unannounced new boss = FUNNY! like Michael and you will like him because they put in Deangelo first.

So... it goes good guy, bad guy, and then when the next good guy comes you will like him more because the bad guy isn't very good that you think the next good guy is amazing! even though he is prob just average. It is all just a brain trick xD

Hope so. It'd be sad for another Scrubs to happen. In fact I'll say this. I hope they don't pull a scrubs.

Especially these last few episodes, hey did outstanding job...so far

Well you even said you don't watch the office I have watched both, Scrubs is very funny, but NOTHING, NOTHING! Will beat the Office : )

Maybe 3 seasons ago. The show has really gone downhill the past couple of seasons, I don't even watch it anymore.

Yeah there are some not so funny episodes but it got WaaaaaaaaaaaaYYYY funny when Dwight did the fire drill thingy. I laughed so hard, and the last few episodes were amazing. Soooooo funny! At least watch the last episodes of Michael leaving

House is a better medical comedy than scrubs by far.
