Thread: Fav sites

I have been told I should post more, so here is a topic I have seen on here in a while

What (other than here) are y'alls favorite websites? They can be single serving sites, like lolcats or sites you spend the most time on, like Facebook. But be as specific as possible, like if you are a farmville junkie on facebook or if you have a favorite tumblr.

Let's see what y'all know about the internets.

To get us goin, first and foremost, TheChive. That place is an addiction. I also enjoy PhillyD's YouTube channels. I don't agree with his views on a lot of things, but he is pretty funny. I don't spend much time on Facebook, but I love the way they have helped me catch up with old friends from school who I would have never tried to contact otherwise.

As for some of the single serving sites, eltexan.tumblr, ilovegifs.tumblr, and my dirty secret is I enjoy gore sites. I'm not going to name them here, but I'm sure you people know how to google. I work in the medical field and I had to start going to see that stuff in school to desensitize me a bit so I wouldn't get all jittery.

Other than that, I love reading anything I can get my address bar on, which includes reading these forums, medical forums, political forums, anything where people argue about issues that I think matter or where people are just fun to listen to.

Lastly, I love the closed circuit websites where you can go look at webcams from around the world, nothing perverted. Like, I watched as earthquake happened on CCTV from a bar in Tokyo. Scary stuff. Like I said, I'm a pretty shy person normally, so I truly enjoy watching people. Kinda creepy sounding, but I bet there isn't a one of you who hasn't sat on a bench for a minute and watched people go by and wondered what they were thinking, what their fears were, what made them happiest in life, or something. Or maybe it is just me.
