People Cannot leave a voice mail

or send what would be a 3 word text message. They for what ever reason, have the compulsion to HAVE TO TALK to you, go through the whole "how ya doing" "good, you?" "fine, yada yada...." FINALLY "im calling because ____".

And if they, for some bizarre turn of events do leave a voicemail, its "CALL ME BACK", nothing about why they are actually calling.

Especially hate it when you know they are on a different day schedule then you (for example they are morning birds, and you're nocturnal), so you have to make a reminder when its a good time to call...

I dont usually bother with leaving a message... My cellphone for me is like a fancy pager, you call. I saw you called. I'll call you back when I can!

What about the ones that listen to the entire voice mail.. wait for the tone... then leave an 8 second voice mail of silence.

My gf does this to me ALLLLLL The fucking time i hate it!!! This is how our calls go...

me: "hey"
Her: "hi"
Insert silence for about 5-10seconds...
Me: "Sooo whats up?"
her: o nothing just calling you to see what your doing
me: oh well im doing yada yada yada
her: cool...........Insert 30seconds of silence
Me: Ok im gonna go back to txting now...
Her: I CANT BELIEVE YOUR RUSHING ME OFF THE PHONE I CALLED YOU TO TALK NOW YOU DONT WANT TO TALK!
me: -. -

Sometimes she calls me and i wont answer so shell call me RIGHT Back immediately after i dont answer and repeats this process till i DO finally answer then when i sound all pissy on the phone she goes WTF is your problem...

The only people who take that long are old people, i just typed this up in about 12 seconds flat, and this is my lazy time.
