University of Southern California stripped of '04 BCS national championship - ESPN Los Angeles
Cheaters never win!!! I knew I hated USC for more reasons than they were over-hyped. Hook 'em!

*goes to place a bet on how many UT players are paid off*
Don't kid yourself, this is no different then SMU. SMU got caught doing what everyone else was doing, and got hit hard for it. No different with USC, I would be willing to bet you could probably find that a lot of players at big schools were getting paid off (except maybe Notre Dame, explaining why they have been shit lately), so there are a lot of cheaters. The difference is Reggie/USC got caught. Mike & Mike had it right though that USC was likely still the best team that year.
Time to wait for Auburn to get caught next, and then see what will be the next school to get caught (and the Auburn one seems much more egregious then USC)

Like I said, its foolish to think other teams aren't doing it (or other agents aren't doing it with kids playing in college), just USC/Reggie got caught. Its sort of like the steroid thing, you know a lot of people were doing it, but none of them got caught (due to not being tested for) while ARod did (due to that 2003 test before putting in the rule).
