Thread: Molding and casting

I need start making mold for my current summer project.

I need to make both a single side and two part mold.
I've done some searching and a latex seems to be the product in thinking for the single side mold.

Now, the pieces I am looking to mold are made of insolation foam. I dought the latex will have a reaction to the foam. But if anyone knows something that I should use thats better then latex, it needs to be non petro base.

The second thing I want to mold are the old Galoob MicroMachine men.

They are plastic base, so I was thinking a urathan RTB rubber.

But, I don't know what to use for a plastic to fill the mold.
