Cp3 is comparable to Brees down here in NOLA.

I would not take wade, Howard, Dirk....and I most certainly would not take Melo or Kobe. Kobe is too old, and I don't likes thugs on my team (Melo).

If I have to have only one player not paired with any one else, I want Cp3, Durant or James. That's it.

If you look at it from the perspective of how much you like him as a person you might not trade him for many of those players. If you look at it as my job and livelihood depend on the number of wins my decision generates the list is probably longer than 2 players.

Of course.

But if you take the hornets roster now, and had to add a player to it (assuming CP3 wasn't already there), there's no way I would think Blake Griffin would create more wins than Cp3. Kobe is too old, and I think Melo isn't good for the long run. Howard couldn't lead the team and Kobe is too old and has maybe 2 years left.

I would bet money that if you traded CP3 straight up for Griffin they would be as good, or better. The only downside to the trade is that your second best player plays the same position, but if I could also trade West for a point guard of equal value I win.

Thing is we have West and Landry. We don't need a PF.

I'd trade any two players on the hornets roster for Dwight Howard (aside from Cp3)

If Howard was gonna leave Orlando anyways, I could see maybe an Okafor/West for Howard trade, maybe.

I guess my analogy is more of the "if every player were a free agent" I could probably come up with 10 people I would take before CP3.
