    Re: 300

Never been to IMAX but could only imagine...

I really liked 300, historically-inaccurate or not, they got right to fighting and really probably only threw the government involvement story line for the women. There was too much slow motion in the fight scenes though. It is better than the jerky camera view like in.... man I can even think of a movie because most of them are too annoying to watch.

    3.5/5 stars....

    Budapest, Hungary

A beautiful location recovering from a tragic communist past. In the train station and subways, there are a plethora of bums sleeping/sitting/begging. Poverty seems to be a big issue as I walk past a park with basically a whole community of poor people in rags. Some of the rail lines outside were covered in rubbish and the majority of the general populace carries a grimace on their face as the walk past me. Besides those obvious problems, parts of the city were incredibly beautiful. I met this guy from Wimbledon at the hostel I was staying at and we went out to have a beer at night. Generally, I had a great time.

It looks beautiful, Jeff. I've always wanted to visit Eastern Europe. Hoping to visit Prague next summer.
