this is and will be the best movie i have ever see.everything you want to see it just rocks.i know a kid who has seen it 28 times and wants to see it 300 times i don't blame him its that good.everyone has to go see this movie.

I'm going to have to disagree.

I thought the action sequences and the fight scenes were good. And for the type (comic book) and feel (epic) that was intended, they did a good job. But. The dialogue was horrendous, and the characters were shallow. Knowing the historical events and watching this movie made me cringe. I hope and pray people don't take this movie as historical reference.

For an action sword and guts movie with no real content it gets an A. If you are looking for something substantial, just pass.

Dude i only wish that I had watched the movie sometime in the evening so i could hit the gym right after it (or go kill somebody). I watched it on the day it was released at 10:30 and man IT WAS THE MOST AWESOME ACTION MOVIE I HAVE WATCHED.

I'm going ot have to agree with mycroft. the dialogue was pulled straight from the novel, just like Sin City. But Miller spent a lot more time on the plot and development of Sin City. It sounded Noir because it was supposed to be.

I will give you the obvious fact of it being one of the prettiest movies I've seen, and the ramping (slowing down shots) was cool, if a little overdone.

Though I'm three times jaded. I know the events of the actual battle (and was upset that they said all the arcadians left, didn't make a point to say the ones that stayed were allowed to wear crimson for the battle). I read the graphic novel in the airport a few days before I saw the movie. And number 3: I went to see it with a film major.

but still, very good. and I imagine the imax is amazing

I've seen it and repordered it on DVD. Best damn movie I have ever seen and that's saying a lot!

I really liked 300. I watched the movie knowing it was gonna be gory and full of action. It's all about going into a movie with the right state of mind. I expected a movie with lots of fight scenes and deaths, and I got my wish. I didn't expect anything more or less.

Still have yet to see it, whenever I get a little more time I'll be sure to. If not, I'll wait till it comes out on DVD.

it balled.. plain and simple. Made me wanna go get an 8pack and kill someone.. only down side was i wanted to see that battle of all the spartans and the persians at the very end when the movie was over.. i was ready for some all on warfare
