A 120 lb lab mutt bites through your pinky

My cousins dog bit me today because the bitch is getting old and didn't know what she was doing.
I 100% blame myself as I should have been a little more careful. I've known this dog since she was a 2 weeks old. Now that she's reaching 14 she's having major issues and today as I went to pet her she nearly took my right pinky off.

Lucky for me she let go quick and didn't tear a chunk off.

Funny how the teeth dont get duller as they get older aint it? I have a mini pin that bit me as well. I feel your pain.

My lab/shepherd mix is nearing 15 as well. Bit the neighbour's 5 year old daughter in the face when she came over to pet it as she does daily. Poor girl needed reconstructive surgery...

Her mother wouldn't let us put the dog down.

unless shes a dog lover that understand and feels for the old doggie. there are nice people in the world too u know?

Sometimes even being the parent you have to take things into consideration. I believe the biggest fact was that you was wanting to do what was right by putting the dog down for doing that to the child. The fact the child had been around the dog and petted it regular probably had something to do with that.

Ya wouldnt know it the way my area is... Nice neighbors but I swear you do one thing and some of em are straight up SUE!!! It gets a little old. And ass HADD also said I think the part that she petted him regularly was part of the reason to not put her down too. It's one of those bad flukes :/
