while chilling in my cube in North VA and the building starts shaking violently. I never even considered earthquakes possible here. Nothing like watching everyone frantically run out of the upper floors of your building to get your heart racing.

News is saying it was a 5.8 hit North VA to NY.

Last thing you want to do is start running around like chickens with their heads cut off during an earthquake. Just get under a desk or something solid and enjoy the ride.

Yeah, I used to live in San Diego. I was trying to determine if I was going to go outside with everyone else or get under my cubical table. It stopped before I made a decision.
