Re: The TV Topic
Found a series called Extinct that seems pretty good after watching the first episode. Basically it happens 400 years after the human race was exterminated by an alien invasion. Another (?) alien race revives three humans and then stuff happens. So far, good stuff.

Finished The Defenders the other night - overall wasn't bad. I'm glad they kept it to 8 episodes though, had they tried to stretch that story over 13 episodes I think it could have gotten too boring. I don't think it was as good as Daredevil S1, S2, or Jessica Jones, but I think it's better than Luke Cage and Iron Fist overall. The first half of Luke Cage and the first half of Iron first were solid, but they both quickly ran out of juice after the halfway mark, I felt.
Defenders was solid and pretty consistent throughout. It had kind of a lot to work with, so I don't know what they would focus on if they did a second season. Either way, The Punisher next month will be the next one in that universe, maybe we'll get something new there, although I kind of hope it's just a self contained story. I loved him in Daredevil s2, so I'm pretty excited for that.

My father's really been liking Mind Hunters. It seems kind of bland to me? I'm going to power through Season 2 of Stranger Things right after Season 1.
On a side note, The Matrix Trilogy and V for Vendetta are leaving Netflix this month.enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P

Wow, the Punisher was very good. Finished the season over the weekend and was very pleasantly surprised. It's nothing like the other Marvel shows - this one is more like a Borne movie than a superhero show. Lots of interesting characters, a solid story, good action. The ending is a bit long winded but still top notch. At this point, I might even say it's the best Marvel show to date.
Also started Godless on Netflix. It's a 7 episode miniseries. It a western with Jeff Daniels as the main villain. He's got a bandit posse and a guy robs them so the posse is going through from town to town hunting him down. I'm halfway through and it's pretty good so far

Got my ass laughing to this show!
Future Man! Future Man stars Josh Hutcherson (The Hunger Games) as “Josh Futturman,” a janitor by day/gamer by night who is recruited by mysterious visitors to travel through time in order to prevent the extinction of humanity.

Another show I'm hooked on is The Travelers.
