I caught up last night on the last few episodes of The Expanse that I fell behind on. Strong finish to the season with some great set up for season 4. They're going full Mass Effect in a lot of ways! I know it's based off the books but I haven't read them so it's cool to see where it's going without any expectations. As good as it is, the CG felt super inconsistent this season. There were some incredible scenes with awesome CG, and then some outright awful CG that looked like it was done by students. I'm hoping with Amazon behind season 4, it'll be more consistent with the production quality and hopefully have a bigger budget.
I've been in a tail-spin though after that season 2 finale of Westworld though...man, WHAT. A. SHOW. That scene after the credits! The twists! The turns! The implications!
Finished my annual rewatch of The Pacific the other day too. Love that series. Though I think I prefer Band of Brothers in terms of enjoyment, they are both so good and show different aspects of the war. I'll prob be rewatching Band of Brothers again soon too. I usually watch them both every summer.
Beyond that, I haven't been watching a whole lot lately with the World Cup going on. Been doing my best to watch every match. I fell behind a couple of days and missed a couple of matches (Denmark/Peru, Sweden/S. Korea, and maybe another?). I love all sports but the World Cup is my absolute favorite thing, ever since I was a little nino.Kanati liked this post

Killjoys: Why can't they just end it instead of dragging things out like this not that I'm complaining about more Dutch.
Wynonna: Started off weak due to unexpectedly needing to write a character, but it ended OKish. I like how they changed things up.
Van Helsing: Great so far
Black Lightning: I've only been able to watch one episode of season 2, but I'm liking it.
Dr. Who: I'm also liking it so far. I love the new Doctor!!!
Grey's Anatomy: Give. Maggie. A. Good. Script. And. Stop. Trying. To. Make. Jaggie. Happen.
Will & Grace: Good, but not great.
I'm really looking forward to watching the new Sabrina show on Netflix. I've also heard season 2 of White Dude Does Kung Fu (Iron Fist?) is actually good.
What've y'all been watching?enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P
Bigdog-Sweet home Alabama you are an idiot.

Re: The TV Topic
Watching all the normal stuff... All the CW superhero stuff...
Titans - Excepting their take on Starfire I'm digging it. Pretty good.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina - Five episodes in and it's great. Pretty close to the books as far as atmosphere and definitely not like the old sitcom.
Haven't gotten to this season of killjoys, wynona, or ANY of van helsing yet...
While I like the new Doctor... I don't think the writing is there yet. But then I'm a Moffatt fan.

I started season 3 of Man in the High Castle, only got 2 episodes in before getting distracted. I like what I saw and the direction it seems to be going, but I just haven't gotten around to finishing it.
I also started the new season of Bojack, again, only got 2 episodes in before getting distracted. I'll probably finish this after I finish MitHC.
The main thing I've been watching lately has been The Wire. Doing my first watch through of it and I'm on season 4 right now. The G.O.A.T. argument always seems to be between this and Breaking Bad. B.B. is the G.O.A.T in my opinion, but I figured I should at least watch The Wire before casting any real judgement. I really really like it so far, it succeeds in different ways than Breaking Bad. They share some similarities but they are fundamentally different types of shows. In it's completion, Breaking Bad is better than anything I've ever seen, but I haven't finished The Wire yet so I'll chime back in later with my thoughts on the comparissons.
I've been watching The Rookie, the new Nathan Fillion show. It's been pretty entertaining seeing him as the lead in a show again, but it's no Castle. When castle was at it's best, it was in a different world. I like the characters though of The Rookie, the way it's shot and the editing is really well done, it fits the type of show that this is. I'm not head over heels for it but I'll stick with it.
I haven't spent a whole lot of time watching shows though with the absurd amount of good sports lately. We got NBA, Hockey, and NFL ramping up, the world series ended tonight (yay Red Sox), MLS playoffs about to start, Champions League group stage as well as the new UEFA Nations League to replace European international friendlies. El Classico was this weekend too. Man, so much happening lately.

Been watching God Friended Me... Now I'm an athiest so that, to some, might seem like it's a bit odd. But that is a REALLY well written show. Acting is good. And it's just a nice feel-good drama with a supernatural twist. Kind of a Highway To Heaven with less Michael Landon.
