Re: to colts fans
I guess i could weigh in now on this thread...seeings how I'm the only/biggest colts fan here.
Walters, wow. You sound like the fat kid that FINALLY got picked to play dodgeball, and you were lucky enough to land on the good team. It must be rough to be a high caliber team like NE and have to beat up on the Dolphins, Bills, and Jets every year, by the way, which all had a combined record of sub par compared to the rest of the NFL during the times Adam Viniteri won ALL 3 of your superbowls (forgot that little fact didnt ya). And btw, arnt you from like kansas or something? Have you ever even been to Massachusets?
Yes, manning being out is a tough blow for the colts, especially on a year where there was a lockout, and a late pick up of Kerry Collins, which has given him comparably NO time to practice. All things considered, I think Kerry did a great job last week. Some balls were over thrown, some bad decisions were made, but all in all, it went well.
And do you REALLY want to talk shit about Kerry Collins? Lol, yea he is old...man that is original...have you ever even looked at his stats? Collins is in the Top 10 quartbacks for All Time Passing Yards. The man has thrown over 40 thousand yards in the NFL. Where is Brady on that list? Here I will help you...he is 19th (manning is 3rd just so you know). How about NFL passing completions? Yea, collins is 9th, brady is 15th.
Dont go knocking Kerry Collins man. You want to brag about your superbowl rings from 2004? Ok...fine...Kerry Collins led the Titans to the playoffs is was the number one team in the AFC 2008 with a record of 13-3. Where were the pats that year? Oh yea, didnt make the playoffs.
Stick to Curling....leave football to the boys.

Re: to colts fans
Civil - maybe you should concerned about the cowboys even making the playoffs. Romo is going to fuck it up this year just like he did against the jets.
Kraker - first of all TOM BRADY was the on who led them on the final drive to set up the field goals. second, not even manning has passed for 517 yards and 4 td's so ponder that bitch. Third Pats were in the playoffs last year, we were the first seed with a 14-2 record. DO YOUR FUCKING RESEARCH DUMBASS!! and lastly if you call the way collins played last week good, then you must be stupid. Collins only completed 16 passes out of 31 attempts and got sacked 3 times........yea hes really good.Last edited by Sgt.Walters; 09-14-11 at 02:11 PM.

Chew on this article (Great Read)
Peyton Manning vs. Tom Brady: A Look Inside the Numbers | Bleacher Report
And you can save it with that performance against Miami the other night. That defense is awful and and it's skewed by a blown coverage that led a freebie 99 yard pass. I'm anxious to hear your retort to the article I just linked.
Best quote I've heard about the Manning/Brady debate yet.
So when it's all said and done, this is how I look at the situation. I feel that Brady is a very good player playing for a great team and Manning is a great player playing for a very good team.Last edited by rock_lobster; 09-14-11 at 05:48 PM.

Of course not. Harrison and Wayne are good, no doubt, but I'll be interested to see how Clark and Wayne fare without Manning at the helm. Not to mention that defense isn't built to stop the run. It's built to rush the passer because generally the opposing team will have to score points to beat Manning and crew.
And with all due respect, when Brady went down, a mediocre Matt Cassel (who hadn't taken a snap since highschool) was 11-5. Which is why I think Brady benefits from a great system as opposed to Manning who is benefiting his system.
Pats without their star: 11-5
Colts without their star: 0-1 (with a bleak future for this season)Last edited by rock_lobster; 09-14-11 at 07:53 PM.

09-14-11, 08:26 PM #40Let me explain something to you Walters. I was a Cowboy fan when they won 3 rings in 4 years, when they went 1-16, and when they do whatever they will do this year and in years to come. I was born a Cowboy fan, to a Cowboy family, in Cowboy country. I didn't jump on the nut of the flavor of the month when I hit junior high a few years ago, like you did.
Now that we have that out of the way we can cover some other issues. The Boys smoke the Pats in winning seasons, playoff appearances, playoff wins, super bowl appearances and wins, hall of famers, and just about anything else you want to compare. Yes, Romo frustrates me, but nowhere near as much as the shit bags that filled the void post Aikman.
The bottom line is in a few years Brady and Bill will retire, the Pats will go back to being meaningless, and you will be here bragging about your new favorite team. Some things never change.
