TTP Demographics Poll

I've met alot of gamers on Texas Team Players and I've noticed a wide range of people with different age groups and locations around the country. This brings up the question. What kind of person plays on Texas Team Players and why? For example, I've been playing First Person Shooters since Doom and Castle Wolfenstein and I have seen games evolve over the past couple decades. And yes I am "old", if that is what the youngsters consider someone who just turned 41. I live in Arizona and have very few connection problems/lag with the server. I almost exclusively play on TPP because I enjoy the communication, team orientated atmosphere, tactics and skill level, and everyone here are pretty much good people that are fun to squad up with... or to kill.

TTP is VERY diverse community of gamers. TTP has members from all around the United States as well as Canada and even some over seas. Many of the members are mature (danceing around old) gamers that have been playing for a good portion of their lives, some people even have some of their kids registered in the community. I personaly am a 16 year old living in California who has been playin games on his NES since he was 4. Ever since joinin TTP i have met people in Arizona, Florida, New York, and of course Texas. I would like to think that people play on TTP because they injoy the atmosphere, actual teamwork in games, freindly people, just a down right GREAT place to play. Many people have been here since the beggining, i personaly hope to stay and play with Texas ...TeamPlayers... for a nuber of years yet to come.

People all over the country play here. Texas Team Players doesn't just mean Texas, it means the whole country. We might even have some people from different countries. Like Blue Thunda said, were a very diverse community.

37 y/o and I live next to the Astrodome. The real one, not silo 1 on Shuhai Tabia.1 Paid to be a geek at one of the hospitals here in the Medical Center.

Normally I avoided 1st person shooters. Well, I guess Descent was in that genre, anyway..... My thing was always games like Civilzation or NeverWinter Nights. I tried 2142 at a friend's place at Xmas time. Immediately hooked.

Now, I need to delete this damn game because I am missing school and lots of sleep. But as the rest of you addicts around here already know, I won't do that.

Well i think im the yougest here at a mear 15 ive been playing on TTP pretty much since i got battlefield 2142 and been playing first person shotters since i was 5 (i think). But i think the people that play on TTP the most are people that enjoy friendship communication and just overall fun. Oh and watching Bigdog yell at people for not following orders.

I'm 17 from Arizona, and i play here mainly because of the team atmosphere, I usually play just mainly Sports games, and strategy games, and a few action(or action/adventure). The thing for me with TTP is just thats its special, there is something to it, anymore i can't even stand other servers, hell i take screen shots of killing Andrew or Trigger etc.

I love TTP for the attitude, which I share. BF2, CS, and BF2142 are all TEAM GAMES. Sadly, not many people work them as such. Beyond that, my first time playing on a TTP server, Tango gave me the greatest welcome. I just had to stick around.

Lets see...i love TTP because of my clans' and every other regulars attitude and commitment towards making gaming better for everyone. I like to think i fit in nicely with that "genre" and also try to make the most of my experience when im not lag kicked. I dont have the connection but when you live out in the country you deal with it.

lets see, i live in rural illinois on a farm, and wouldnt trade this lifestyle for anything...i cant stand cities at all, and hate when i have to stay overnight in a large city because i hear traffic all night long. I'm 18, gonna be 19 in june...im pretty relaxed except when its something i disagree about strongly and i'll be very blunt when it comes to words.
