Soccer fans?
I was wondering if there are any soccer fans out there like myself. I mostly watch the European leagues especially the uefa champions league and the world cup. I hope I'm not the only one out there in a sea of baseball and football fans. I'll admit soccer is a little bit more boring to watch than most sports but it still can be fun to watch. I especially love some of the commentators!
So.. who do you want to win the UEFA champions league?Last edited by Webs; 09-16-11 at 08:22 PM. Reason: punctuation

Re: Soccer fans?
I can barely play. I got clubs I've had for 10 years, think they've been used less than a half-dozen times. Only time I ever used em was when I went up north with my dad to visit family, cause him and my uncle were golf people....and by that I mean they enjoyed drinking, and they just happened to be playing golf at the same time

Baseball is the biggest waste of time. I just wish the sport would die so we can all move on with our lives.
Soccer is fun to watch if it's World Cup, Olympics, or an MLS game that takes place in the Northwestern part of the US...those people are crazy about their soccer

I never really watch MLS soccer, there are some great players but I feel like as a team they don't play anything like EPL teams do.
I try and watch 3-4 EPL games a week (Especially Liverpool). I'll watch other european soccer when it's on but EPL is my favorite, unless it's the world cup, I think I missed 3 games during the entirety of the last WC.

I like to watch the EPL as well as Europa and Champions League. I've been meaning to watch some Ligue 1, La Liga, and Serie A but always forget to =/. I think ESPN3.com still shows some of the Serie A and maybe La Liga games, but don't quote me on it (it should be free, and its legal if you are wondering).
Of course DirecTV has the group games of the CL and maybe Europa in the 480 channels, though usually the marquee games you aren't able to watch without paying for the soccer package.
By the way, for anyone interested, Fox is going to show the Chelsea-Manchester United match on tape-delay on Fox syndicates. Have to check your schedule as it will be before/after your scheduled NFL game (I think, I know if you get an early game its after, not sure how they will do it with late games).
Never been big on the MLS, though it is slowly getting better. I still treat it as a summer distraction though =P

I can't wait for the Man U game, I think it's live at like 7:30 am on Fox Soccer, and replayed again at 8pm on FS again.
My bad, was thinking about the LPOOL game. (full schedule below)

Tottenham v Liverpool, 8.30am, FOX Soccer Plus and FOXSoccer.tv (shown on replay on FOX Soccer Plus at 8pm)
Fulham v Manchester City, 10am, FOXSoccer.tv (also shown on FOX Soccer Plus at 10:30am on tape delay)
Sunderland v Stoke, 10am, FOXSoccer.tv (also shown on FOX Soccer Plus at 12:30pm on tape delay)
Manchester United v Chelsea, 11am, FOX Soccer (also shown on FOX Broadcasting Company on tape delay at either 2pm or 4:30pm)Last edited by Rawr; 09-17-11 at 02:37 PM.
