Its time! Hockey is back!

I like football, Sundays are awesome.
Hockey will always be my first choice in main stream sports. (Motocross will never get there, too dangerous).

1- Who is your team?
2- How do you think they will do (honestly)?
3- Players to watch on said team?
4- Pick the stanley cup final......!

1- Ducks!!!!!!!!!!! Fuck the Kings.
2- I am hoping they can put on a late season charge to make the playoffs this year. We need a goaltender BAD if Hiller still has vertigo. The goalies they are trying out this pre-season are pretty bad.....
3- Corey Perry.... won the Hart trophy last year, 50+ goals. He is going to beast this year on a great line. Getzlaf, Ryan and Perry is pound for pound one of the best and most physical lines in hockey. They are all fast, and BIG. They need help from the points and goal tending to win games.
4- I will take Detroit V Boston. Boston came on way to strong last year to be denied... and its the wings. I hate them, its like being a Patriots fan or a Yankees fan, but where do you see those teams going in the post season? Fuck.

1. The Wild and had to pick a team later because of the North Stars leaving town. So I cheer for the Avs whenever they are on.
2. I actually think the Wild are gonna have a pretty good year. With the acquisitions of Heatly and Settoguci we're finally going to have some scoring power in our top line for a change with Koivu filling that spot out. I would say that the Wild are a dark hourse playoff team this year, but still think that they are 2 years away from making a solid push in the Stanley Cup Playoffs again.
3. Heatly, Settogcui, Koivu and Brodziak
4. Too early to make cup predictions. If I had to lay money down right now, safe bet would be the Sharks and Capitals.

2-Well they promised to suck less this year so I'm optimistically hoping for above last

1. Red Wings, although I will also keep my eye on the Jets this year because I think it is awesome they got their team back.
2. Playoffs, as always! 20 years straight now. Hopefully they can at least make it to the conference finals this year.
3. Datsyuk. He is probably the most interesting and entertaining player to watch in the NHL. The things he can do when he has the puck are amazing, and he the best two-way player in the league.
4. Don't know yet, but of course, I hope it's the Wings vs. anyone but the stupid Penguins.

Black and Gold All the way, in the Penguins case, White, Black and Gold
2 They will be the team to beat this year, Already looking solid and its only 4 games into the preseason. If Sid comes back then there is no stopping us. But if not then we will still be at the top competing day in and day out, Just might have a hard time holding up Lord Stanley's Trophey.
3 Gino Malkin, After being sidelined most of last season with injuries he has come back lighter, stronger and is playing better than we have ever seen him play. 5 points in 2 games speaks for itself.
4 Still early but I'm gonna have to say the Pens and the Wings, and as I said, the Pens will win if Sid plays, Wings will win if he doesn't.
