Buying an armored vehicle never sounded so appealing.... especially if you get one of the ones that can run on alternate fuels, like oil (veg or motor)......

Depending on the fuel/mileage you might end up saving money, depending on how cheap it was to begin with.....

It may be legal to own one but there are plenty of laws about actually driving one. Most would have an issue with maintaining a speed limit aside from the new beast we have. Much respect for a tank that can keep the speed limit on a highway and put two rounds thru the same hole.

Would be cheaper to pick up a 5 ton though. Damn tanks dont get shit for gas mileage.

oh yeah its legal, there is a guy in Fredricksburg that has a fully licenced and registered tank that he can drive around town. He uses it mostly for re-enactments at the WWII pacific war museum there
