Re: RIP Steve Jobs
It was a creation of the engineers of apple. He may have been the CEO and may have told them to concentrate on touchscreens but he clearly didn't make it by himself in his garage. Was he pushing the technilogical era along with others? Sure but lets not get to crazy over him. He did manage to make a whole lot of money while creating plenty of jobs outside the US to increase profit margins. Lets also not forget this had nothing to do with a humanitarian mission.
For the record im not a steve jobs hater. When gates dies i will be here saying the same thing because after all computers were already here.

Re: RIP Steve Jobs
Well shit Deathgod...How can I put it...if you come up with a prototype of a machine and have a clear view of what you want it to do and where you want it to go....and then hire a bunch of engineers to help you reach YOUR goal and YOUR vision...and you get there with the help of these people...then shit it’s still YOUR creation because without you, this group of people would have never come together to build on this idea that had never been thought of.

Re: RIP Steve Jobs
Those pesky facts always seems so childish dont they?
Let me know when he is responcibly for that.
Maybe if i ever considered buying an i phone that would matter. All im saying is his gift to man kind is being grossly overstated. Great toys but hardly earth shattering. The people who invented indoor plumbing, toilets, cars, computers, and a number of othere things has more respect for me then jobs and the i phone. So i guess the best answer i can give you is im greatfull he helped push the computer age.
