I would classify this problem as a brain teaser and not math, as this is a terrible question from a mathematical perspective, the probability is 1/3 however no one on the planet should ask a question this way, other than ETS and there assholes.

Re: Math question... Soysoldiers not allowed.
Because my choice of answer is already determined (random). My percentage will be equal to the choice that is chosen.
----
But the percentage of being correct cannot be defined as this question (what's your percentage chance to get it correct?) has self referential properties. Thus causing a loop in logic.
----
If I was able to choose a percentage that I might be correct on a question, I want C (60%) of the options given me, but that isn't a random choice is it?
----
If I were to answer this question, would I be able to determine my answer?

Re: Math question... Soysoldiers not allowed.
The answer I came to after my brain went into vapor-lock is basically what Quick came to as well.
It's a "trick" question because it's recursive. Or to be more specific. It's Russell's Paradox and is based on "naive set thoery".
Correct any of this if I'm fuckin it up, Soy...
According to naive set theory, any definable collection is a set. Let R be the set of all sets that are not members of themselves. If R qualifies as a member of itself, it would contradict its own definition as a set containing all sets that are not members of themselves. On the other hand, if such a set is not a member of itself, it would qualify as a member of itself by the same definition. This contradiction is Russell's paradox. Symbolically:
All I know is that it made me get a headache thinking about it for about 10 minutes before coming to the conclusion that mathematicians all suck.

Re: Math question... Soysoldiers not allowed.
If you pick an answer at random, you will always be right 46% of the time. Half of the remaining percentage of the time, you will always be wrong, but only if you pick an answer that doesn't begin with choice a, b, c, or d. On Tuesdays that do not immediately follow Mondays, a fifth answer will be present which, if chosen, will allow for the person choosing the answer to pick two answers IF and only if they pick two correct answers. If llama's are present at the time of answer choosing, blue. Said there's another, and look right in my eyes. My first love broke my heart for the first time. I am not a robot. I am a unicorn. But you say you are not helpful therefore you are a meanie.
