I normally don't complain about my job as I get paid to listen music, but....now...I must listen to the metallica album in its entirety. Say a few Hail Mary's for me.

Well, color me surprised. Track 1, Branderburg Gate, is actually pretty good.

Unlike the 'Tallica album, the new Mastodon is pretty sexy. Same with the newest release(s) from The Devin Townsend Project.

I know. Got both of those a while ago though.

Definitely some good tracks on the album, but...now...the songs are just freaking weird songs...talking about $100 dog spots meeting stern pussies and being spermless like a woman. WTFM8!

Well... it's a Lou Reed album with Metallica appearing on it... it's not a Metallica album... so... it's going to be weird because Lou Reed is just weird.

I've been stuck on the albums Colors and The Great Misdirect by Between The Buried And Me. Progressive death metal at its finest. Colors has so many badass nuances too. Hoe-down anyone?

Of late, I find myself going between Combichrist, Jessie J, and Girls Under Glass.

I've never been able to get into Combichrist. Industrial isn't really my thing but NIN's The Downward Spiral is one of my favorite albums.
