Anyone have a recipe for pumpkin pie where you make your own filling instead of buying it? If not, I'll just stick to my apple pie with cheddar cheese.

Hey moving, I'll see if I can get you my family's recipe for blueberry pie. We have our own crust recipe, but it works just fine with a store bought crust. It's a pie crust with a layer of cream cheese to keep it from getting mushy, topped with fresh blueberries, topped with a blue berry sauce, topped with whipped cream.

It's very easy to make and much better than store bought.
Although, blueberries at this time of year would be expensive. It's more a spring/summer pie. If you're willing to shell out the mullah on some Driscolls though...
