if my ESPN picks mimic my TPG ones, I got 12 out of 14 right so far, missed on Washington and Baltimore. if Pittsburgh wins, i should hit all my high value picks iirc (Green Bay, Pitt, Carolina).

Dawayne Bowe is gutless too. Calls for the fly, breaks his route, and then goes up and decides he doesn't want to get hit and lets it get picked...completely gutless.

Not that I'm complaining. I'll take an ugly Steelers win any day. I totally saw this as a trap game, with Pittsburgh overlooking a beat up team, with very underrated defensive unit and getting blindsided. Also, I haven't seen a team look good yet coming off their bye this seasons - a whole bunch of shitty performances.

@ Mafioso, at this point I'm not sure I'd pick against Denver unless they were playing a sure playoff team. They just seem to have the hot hand right now.

How many bull shit personal foul calls are they going to call on new orleans? The late hit on tracey porter I get, but the roughing the passer and that unnecessary roughness call? Garbage. Then Jacos stands there and taunts the entire team to their face after the TD and a flag isn't thrown? No matter, Saints still gonna beat them down in the 2nd half. They won't keep getting bailed out by bogus 15 yard penalties the entire game.

Aside from that, Brees looks stellar. And with the weather getting worse (for Brady and Rodgers) I expect he will be the front runner to break Marino's record of total passing yards in a season.

Agreed, what is the defender suppose to do?? That hit was absolutely necassary, anything less and the defender risks allowing the receiver to catch the ball. Additionally thats an extremely difficult hit to execute, the timing has to be perfect!! Hate seeing great football plays voided and penalized
