Thread: PR game this easter weekend

Hey fellas, I hope not all of you are away from keyboard this easter weekend 'cause I'm here and I would love to see some good PR matches with ya duuudes.

I'll be there if were not the only ones.

i'll be on all weekend...might leave for a couple of hours to get my sleep in or nic fix, but otherwise, game on!

The Chordata sat quietly at his desk, the computer screen blazing in front of him. He knew his accomplishments, his stabilization of the country would mean little to the council. They only understood war; the complete, total war his generals preferred. He shut his eyes. It was obvious what was going to happen now. The only question would be when. Three days was his hope, his chance. That would be when his few supporters would arrive. Then he could "replace" the council...

The door crashed open. He had a good idea who was standing in it. He reached down for his pistol, but was too late. The shot rang out. The bullet pierced his right lung. He felt compelled to scream, but refused to give his attacker the satisfaction.

"So... the council... approves?"

"Obviously. I am to be your successor after killing you. It will be my duty to ensure the world follows the path."

The Chordata shut his eyes. His successor was going to bring destruction to Crazy Train. The assassin, the new Chordata, repositioned his pistol at the older man's head and fired. The power transition was complete.

The following day, the Chordata had assembled the crowd. He collected in the sights; the sounds. He could feel the strength of the crowd; the unwavering dedication to the religion. He knew this was his duty; to lead his people to victory over the heathens of the region.

"Today our great nation faces it's greatest change in over a decade. The old Chordata, the weakest, most incompetent leader in our history is dead. I killed him. Let this be a lesson to you; if you cannot follow the path; if you cannot destroy the heathens; if you cannot face your reality, you will be destroyed.

"Our people seem to have forgotten the way of the path. We do not give mercy. We do not idle. We do not negotiate. We give the simple option: convert or die. We cannot allow the worthless nation of the Flying Ham Toast of Milton Legs to expand any further to the south. We cannot allow Zakalwe's puppet state to control our southern 'neighbor.'

"An ancient tradition of our people is for the new ruler to give a gift to the governing council to show loyalty. My gift is simple. We will annex Panama for ourselves! They are the stepping stone to the rest of the region! All those that do not convert will die! Let no heathen get in our way! May the platypus commend you!"

The Chordata left to thunderous cheers. He met his advisor behind the stage.

"Are the units in place?"

"Yes. They are awaiting your command. Shall I notify Zakalwe of your intentions?"

"No. He will learn soon enough. Make sure only those proven to be loyal to us survive."

The Imperial Brotherhood of Crimmond has released a statement regarding the announcement of the Chordata.

Any aggression against Panama threatens the profits of the Empire. If one single boot crosses that border and it results in a disruption of commerce along the Panama Canal, then we shall be forced to annex Panama ourselves to ensure that commerce will be unimpeded.
