My question is if Bama does go to the title game, and let's say they win 9-6 in OT, then why would their neutral site 9-6 win be "better" than LSUs 9-6 win in Bama's house? If Bama wins 9-6 do we split the NC? Do we claim they both suck because neither scored in double-digits and give the title to OSU? Or does anyone outside of LA and AL even care enough to watch that boring of a game?

Re: Week 15 BCS sStandings
For the sake of conversation of who is the best team, you could argue in favor of both bama and LSU (if bama were to win in the scenario you provided). However, the champion is whoever hoists the crystal ball at the end of the year. I will say this, if comes down to something like 2003 when LSU won it all, but the AP voted USC #1 and said it was a split title, I'll be a bit upset. You either win it, or you don't. If bama beats us 9-6 in OT, they are the champs, even though the series will be 1-1 and bama would have lost on their own field.
We need a different system, but I don't believe we will see one anytime soon. Majority of the media thinks bama is the better team, so I doubt LSU would win the AP vote if Bama won a close one.

Re: Week 15 BCS sStandings
you know theres an interesting point ESPN pointed out... OSU beat alot of teams that had winning records and beat teams in ranked games... OSU had beaten 6 ranked team the entire season...
Alabama had beaten 4 ranked teams the whole season.. and many with no winning records...
in and out of conference play....
if OSU doesn't get a national title its going to show a huge flaw in the poll and the bcs game is going to be overshadowed with the flaws
