Thread: Your exhaust unbolts itself while ur going to visit a friend...

So i just got back from my trip to Michigan and i decided my 1982 Malibu needed a good run/drive cause she hasnt been started in about 2 weeks, So i get her started warm her up and take her out for a nightly cruise...Im 2min from my friends place of work and all a sudden i cant hear shit anymore and it sounds like a machine guns commin down the road...I pull over look up underneath and come to my surprise, my exhaust unbolted itself from the header...I didnt have any hangers in the car, but i did have old spark plug wires...So i tied it up with spark plug wires and kept on going..Took a couple vids of how loud the fucker was...

LOL, This sounds like me about a year ago! My old BMW 2002 did this (it's done it like 4 times...)

ya haha, lessons learned, Start checking the simplest of things while under the hood doing the harder work.

I dropped a glass pack once in Daytona. I had to finish the drive to jacksonville like that. Fucking sucked.
