Could be either your graphics card or the power supply.
If you have a spare power supply laying around, you could try that, or go to Best Buy or some place and get a power supply, try it, if it doesn't fix the issue, return it.
Depending on the brand your graphics card might still be under warranty, providing you registered it when you bought it. Places like EVGA and XFX have lifetime warranties.

Moisture in air compressors is always a concern. However, I have found that shop vacs in leaf blower mode work great Just have to make sure the filter is fairly clean, let it run for 15 seconds before using on comptuter (allows it to blow any dirt/dust out of the hose.) If you are worried about debris you can use panty hose and rubber bands to filter the air stream. @#%$#$% canned air, that shit is ridiculously over-priced.
Did I say that or was I just thinking it?

I've got a vacuum cleaner that was specifically made for electronics that I use to regularly clean out my PC. They were throwing it away at a previous employer... and I snagged it.

Could be the motherboard too. I had the same thing happen to me a few weeks ago, and then the machine just started turning off randomly, I thought it might be the vid card or the power supply just like wiley suggested. Had a spare PSU laying around and tested that theory. The system would not even come on till I wiggled the CPU power cable then it started up, but it kept shutting down randomly. Replaced the motherboard and now all is well...
Hopefully this is not the case for you, but if you're sure the vid card is not overheating, then the next step is your PSU. If that doesn't fix then you need to start looking at maybe old bad capacitors on the mobo...
