I really dont see any issue with what Im getting right now in the midwest. So you have an internet connection thats 10% better than me? Big fn woop. That should actually hurt when you try to explain why I still kill you in game. Its like saying a player with a top of the line computer is better than a more than average computer. Its just not true.

02-10-12, 09:17 AM #7Don't be too sure there. In my village in Germany, I can only get DSL at 1mb while literally across the street, my neighbors get 100mb cable. KabelBW (think Time Warner but speaking Deutsch) would gladly bring it to my house for the low low price of €3500. The technology may be there but the infrastructure is not 100% and is run by people that make American customer service representatives look like saints by comparison.

I only get dsl..... and I really hate my connection speeds..... before we had dsl we had 56k and before that we had 14.4k and before that we had 2800 baud.
There is no cable in my area (well there is but its not an option, bad service/speed/price). I was speaking to a verizon employee and was told that likely we would not see fios in this area, ever.....
I miss living at university where I had 600 MB/s download speeds sometimes. Downloaded a linux DVD in 6 seconds.....-- Intentionally Left Blank --

This video is actually like 1/5 of what you could actually get, anything you connected to was slower than you....
Drexel University has the fastest internet connection on the east coast I am fairly sure...-- Intentionally Left Blank --
