03-15-12, 11:44 AM #31Quite honestly, nvidia is overdue for a new card line, I would look into if they are going to release new cards soon at all and buy accordingly (slightly better cards for a while, slightly less for soon).
That's assuming you stick with nvidia, AMD cards right now are a generation ahead, and a single high end AMD card has nearly the same number of stream processors as two of those 560 cards at less price.

Not sure, but does the Haf X have room for a 120mm x 240mm radiator that is actually slightly bigger (the reason I can't have a 3rd fan on top of my case). Oh, and you will definitely want your wife on hand to help put on the back plate...it's a bitch to do with just 2 hands.
Looks very sexy.enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P
Bigdog-Sweet home Alabama you are an idiot.

Hmmmmm
Not a fan of AMD, Radeon or whatever you want to call it.
So the real question is should I get 2 GTX560Ti's, 2 GTX 570's or 1 GTX580 and then buy a second GTX580 when the price drops?
Not going to wait on pulling the trigger, I have done that in the past and it is a never ending story.

When i was building my computer about 2 months ago, i was dead set on the H100. Until... i discovered XS-PC Rasa RX240 and RX360 kits. I went with real water cooling and couldn't be happier.
XSPC Rasa 750 RX240 Universal CPU Water Cooling Kit at SVC.com
XSPC Rasa 750 RX360 Universal CPU Water Cooling Kit at SVC.com
over at overclock.net they have a thread dedicated to these kits, talks all about them as well.

Re: Time For A New Rig
Pretty cool site:
AnandTech - Bench - GPU11
According to it dual 570's smoke a single 580 and dual 580's are barely faster than dual 570's.
So it's dual 570's for now, can always swap both out 18 months down the road if needed.
Going to stick with the H100 as it seems to have way more installation instructions. Just about to finalize this order.SapiensErus liked this post
