My friend is interested in Diablo 3 but doesn't have a gaming PC. What would be the price of in his words "a good computer that can run diablo 3 and such?"

What's the budget?

If he already has the monitor and other stuff he can get away with one for less than 5-6 hundred.

bought this one for my wife last week for the soul purpose of playing diablo 3 and it works great

Alienware - Desktop - 8GB Memory - 1TB Hard Drive - AX51-2020BK

its a lot of PC for $800, I don't think I could be it much cheaper and its ready to go out of the box.

added --> forgot to mention that this system runs diablo 3 on the highest settings.

Also depends on expectations on gameplay in Diablo 3.

I don't know the budget I'll ask though, that PC looks good Phyre sadly can't get it here cause we're up in Canada.

Just reproduce the specs of it. You'll likely be able to get it significantly cheaper than alienware sells it for anyway.

Oh yeah, don't go by the recommended specs they give for D3. My laptop is at the recommended specs, but only averages 38 fps with dips won to 20. That's on low settings at a reduced res.
