Case Upgrade
I was really struggling to find a new case. My NZXT M59 was awesome and I loved it but it just wasnt roomy enough. Corsair had a few that I liked but they were just to pricey for me and thats where I ran into a problem. Price! I mean dang I payed $60 bucks from my M59 and it had all the bells and whistles when it came out. But today finally I was able to swing Compusa into a great deal on a new case. The Overseer RX-1 by Thermaltake. Gunna be $80 bucks once I put in my mail in rebate and I love it. Its the biggest case I have ever had lol.
Newegg.com - Thermaltake Overseer RX-I VN700M1W2N Black Steel / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case
Thought I would put some specs down as well.

Nice looking case source. I recently upgraded to an NZXT case, it's roomy and it looks nice but I wish it had a bid more structural integrity to the plastic, the sides sometimes feel faint when I'm carrying it. That one you got looks like it can take a few hits lol. Very nice very nice looks like it'd be big enough for water cooling too if you ever decided to.

The reason to get something pricey like a corsair is for quality. An alumnium case will stay much cooler and be much tougher than a plastic case.
enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P
Bigdog-Sweet home Alabama you are an idiot.

Agree with DJ; you really have to look at it as an investment, this could be the very last case you have to buy if you get the one you want. It may cost a little more but you will never be thinking I should have got this other case.
From pc to pc you will always just be replacing guts only in that nice case.
I'm not knocking your case it seems nice, I just thought I would share a different perspective on it.

Re: Case Upgrade
well yah the entire rig is an investment. I just thought the price of some of these new cases have been a bit out there considering whats been the usual price points in the past. But i am loving this case. The cable management took a little convincing but only a little and the room between the HDD cage and the motherboard is crazy lol and that really helps with the crossfire config. Never had a full tower before so its pretty cool. i just need to find 2 more fans to put on it 200mm with blue leds is a bit dodgy because the have to match the ones already in and that can be a pain.

Agree the whole thing is an investment but you sort of have to look at the big three Mobo, ram and cpu as a temporary investment, the rest for the most part will last quite a while.
Speaking of cable management I took all my wires and individually wrapped them with braided wire sleeving. Talking about a bit of work.
but in the end it looks pretty nice finished.

LMAO! I cant believe you did that. I had a hard enough time just finding best way to pass it through so it would look good inside lol. My cables came sleeved so I am lucky? lol
I am going to take a few pics today. Last night by the time i got it all set up i was just to tired lol. Tough thing putting a PC together especially when your OCD about it.Last edited by SourceSkills; 06-22-12 at 11:25 AM.

Re: Case Upgrade
I think it should be, tough thing when you are trying to put a pc together when you are spending that time gaming in BF3 and don't want to stop.
Shit it took me almost two weeks to put my latest system together because I started gaming and didn't want to quit to finish building the damn thing.
Stupid games!!!! lol
