This is what I was looking at before I decided to get the 690. It's an external radiator solution.

Oh, and Air Penetrators. That is all. They are probably the best intake fans, and some of the best fans to cool radiators out there.

Are you looking to do CPU only? Or both CPU and GPU? What is your budget?
As for fans, I highly recommend the Scythe Gentle Typhoon AP-14 (1450 RPM) or AP-15 (1850 RPM) fans. They are quiet, move great air, and they are built like tanks.
If you are just looking to cool your CPU, you could probably go with a pump/res combo to save some money. A good pump can run $80-100. EK makes great CPU water blocks for around $70. There are some good 240 radiators that can do a good job cooling just a single CPU. Obviously, a 360 would be better.

Yeah, but if he's going just for the CPU, he may as well get the corsair H series. Much simpler to setup and maintain. My only recommendation on them is to replace the fans. They have high static pressure, which is what you want, but they are said to be quite noisy.
And I know I say it in a lot of threads, but get the diamond thermal paste. No curing time+never having to reapply it=win+money saved in the long run.

My office becomes a nice little hot box actually so I would really like to do both the CPU and the GPU. I dont know what to budget because Ive never really looked at prices. I would say $300 would be my max for both combined.
Also my computer just crapped out on me last nite (no display while trying to boot). Im thinking its my mobo, so I might swap that out for an Intel mobo with an Intel CPU, so any suggestions for that would help too.

OK. So, $300 for the water cooling parts, what about the rest of the computer? Keep in mind that you may want a different case. So, factor that in.

Re: Water Cooling
I would think the HAF would suffice. It looks like its built to allow water cooling already. The other parts Im looking for a mid-high level CPU with a mobo to run it. Nothing crazy new but something that will last me 3-4 years. The mobo I just go as basic as possible. The only thing I need is the ability for front audio and wired internet and it obviously has to be compatible with my existing RAM. No budget has been set for that yet. Possibly $300-$400.

Going from Newegg, I think you can fit a 360 up top. Not 100% on that though. Could you verify that for me so I know what type of radiator to look for? At the least, you should be able to put a 240 up top. RAM might be a stretch.
Do you plan on going SLI in the future with a second 560ti FPB?enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P

Haha, so. Looks like a RAM upgrade is in store (no mobos that support that). Never fear. I can fit it in to da budget like how DG snaps into a slim jim.
