Re: Poor windows experience score with corsair force 3
You beat me to a reply. I pulled the case open and verified I'm no one of the 2 6gb ports on mb pretty sure I'm using a sata 3 cable. I updated my bios to rhe latest and rescanned. Still 6.9. I read the earlier ones had issues 1122 and earlier. Mine starts with 1141. I disconnected all of the other hdds for the assessment as well to make sure they aren't counted in somehow.
Thanks,
Brian

You could try updating the SSD firmware. However, do that at your own risk.
That being said, I would honestly run a 3rd party benchmarking utility for the drive, and go by that.enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P
Bigdog-Sweet home Alabama you are an idiot.

Goes to show the difference in Controllers maybe?
Or perhaps I should check my Firmware; my drive is a step behind yours but on a SATA III with the appropriate cable and only 7.5. I really don't know that I'll notice a difference though.. smoking fast. I had a RAID0 but it was not noticeably faster so I parted the other Force III out to my lappy instead.

There is a firmware upgrade available. I will try to install it again. It was having issues installing it. It looks like the 6 fb ports are Marvell. I tried both ms and intel havi drivers. Not the marvell ones. I may try those tonight also. Every health test I've done shows the health at 100%
