Windows 95 was shit? Hardly. lol. It was a huge change from Windows 3.11 and for the better for sure. Windows 98 was a minor upgrade to 95 and 95 was amazing.

Even the first 98 was buggy, buggy, buggy! It wasn't until 2nd Edition when Windows 98 was a bit more stable. Hell, I am running it on my Retro PC right now, and it has only crashed on me a couple times (mainly driver conflicts that I had to get worked out).
Actually, I missed out on Windows 3.X. I was still running DOS applications to run and manage my games. In fact, I skipped over the 386 systems all together... went from a 286 @ 12MHz to a 486 @ 100MHz. The of course, the Pentium came out a month later and shattered my dreams.

And I'm sure that guy had issues when he first bought his first computer too. There is no operating system out there that makes life easy. I'm not trying to defend what Microsoft did, they are trying to make the world of Windows better for people, they just forgot the tutorial.
