need help boot? issue
so this happens once in BLUE MOON and USUALLY fixes its self but not having Any luck getting it to boot tonight it happened today and started working right after A ROLLBack but now not getting it to boot at all I just ponder if windows updTE IS FUCKING UP my pc and its not booting dunno what ELSE TO DO BUT THE USUAL POWER ON and off till it works typing this on my nieces lAPTOP so any speedy idea would be great

eh its on now i'm thinking its my vid card gonna die or somethihng it just wouldnt boot up power up fans spinning lights lighting but just no picture and this morning a couple times it wouldnt get passed the windows logo till finally i just want it to be something other then my vid card to fuckin expensive to replace

Those symptoms could literally be anything...
I'd try unplugging anything that you don't have to have to run...since it's a laptop that basically means all your peripherals. See if it still has issues booting. You could also disable things that are technically optional(soundcard, etc) in the BIOS to see if one of those is causing the issue.
If that doesn't help I'd try doing a memtest - I prefer Memtest86.com - Memory Diagnostic to the windows mem test...free to download and you just need to burn it to a CD and boot from it. If the test fails then try each stick of ram separately to determine which stick is bad.
If the memtest shows good, try checking your hard drive for bad sectors...booting to a command prompt and running chkdsk /r /f should work, but if you can get your hands on an actual hard drive repair tool(such as spinrite), that would be even better. Hard drive repair takes a LONG time so be prepared for that.

You should consider investing in filters for your fans. I'd also recommend blowing out your PC at least once a month given the stove.
