It will fit. The card supports PCI-E 3.0, but it isn't a requirement. Most tests have shown that the difference between 2.0 and 3.0 is practically nothing.

It requires a 16x slot, which your motherboard has 2 of.

so far this looks like the best card i can afford but how good is this card for current games? is this card sorta new or sorta old i wont be buying another vid card for a couple years will this last me can i play current games on high with this?

It's about comparable to a GTX660... It's a solid bottom of the top end / top of the mid range card. Should handle most everything you throw at it. Maybe not at the highest settings on some things like far cry 3 and such but still pretty good.

By the way, if you want to run more than 2 monitors, with it, you are going to need an active display port adapter for the third monitor. I'm learning this the hard way right now.
