    Nice rig.

I like the size... I went mATX on my current gaming rig and love it.

    Re: 2013 Build

Thanks yall. mATX definitely presented its challenges. It took me about 5 hours to assemble because I kept running into tiny issues, like the SSD mount plate had to have the SSD mounted while outside the case, and this plate had to be down before the 120mm front fan could go in. And because the rear port is only 80mm I couldn't mount the H60 fan there, and the tubes were only so long and I couldn't put it in the upper front 120mm port because the 5.25 bays intruded too much for the radiator to fit, and with the radiator in the bottom front 120mm port the tubes were so tight I couldn't install the graphics card. Round and round like that for a while.

Finally, as in the picture, I mounted the fan through the case top to the radiator but the fan was scraping on the 3-pin fan power connector which ran underneath it through the hole to the header, so that won't work. I tried using it without the fan and just using the radiator and the temps were in the 50's/60's. Right now I have the fan off, but the radiator just dangling in front of the two front 120mm intake fans and it seems to be perfectly fine but not pretty. The rest of the cables need to be zip tied up too.

As far as performance goes, it fired up perfectly on first boot. The UEFI is awesome with click-to-overclock settings and a frickin browser. I popped in the Windows 8 install disc, when to the bathroom and when I came back it was done - a nice surprise. It boots to desktop in less than 15 seconds, I don't know exactly how long because it's less time than the monitor takes to cycle through inputs to the correct one. Happy panda.
