what i'm thinkin but
1) i've never returned anything before
2) i could use the upgrade
3) i need to get this machine running again i really need to game again
i just need to know whats wrong butno idea how to figure it out less i send it to someone but seems like more then an hours work which is about all i can afford

My suggestion would be to return the video card. See how much money you could get for your computer on craigslist. Take that money and put it away so you have some sense of security and when your financial situation gets better then invest in a hobby. Don't invest in a hobby if you can't afford the upkeep.
