fuck fuck fuck i dont know what to do i pluged in the brand new video card and still no boot up how will i ever know if its the psu cpu or mother board i'm at a loss at what to do anymore the 200$ i paid for this really put me in the hole

what i'm thinkin but

1) i've never returned anything before
2) i could use the upgrade
3) i need to get this machine running again i really need to game again

i just need to know whats wrong butno idea how to figure it out less i send it to someone but seems like more then an hours work which is about all i can afford

1) getting the card put you in the hole
2) it didn't fix the problem

oh also troubleshoot before you spend money it will save money and time. it sounds like processor or the socket to the processor or power supply more like now that i think about it.

Guessing with money is never a good idea. Return the card and get your money back. I bet someone could tell you what's wrong for $20.

My suggestion would be to return the video card. See how much money you could get for your computer on craigslist. Take that money and put it away so you have some sense of security and when your financial situation gets better then invest in a hobby. Don't invest in a hobby if you can't afford the upkeep.
