SO I hate to be that guy to ask for a hand out, In fact my pride is being tortured with bamboo shoots and hot coals just typing this out and will be completely obliterated when I hit enter.... However I need? want? Want...definitely want a new processor.

It's getting to the point I cant play anything other then orcs must die2!

I would sack up and buy one but I can't justify the expense when I have other responsibilities that, that money should go towards. But I still want to game with you people.

So if any body happens to have a CPU just collecting dust, that's better then the dual core I am running now I would be much obliged to you, it's socket AM3.

That's not so bad. Orcs Must Die 2 is fun. Don't have any AMD goodies here. Haven't for several years now, sadly.

wish i could help tex in the same boat myself try a small pawn shop they may have something cheap you can grab parts from or have actual parts for sale gonna try that once i know what parts i need

What mobo do you have? Does it support the 125 Watt AM3 processors.....



I have an AMD 1055T x6 (overclocked stable to 4ghz)
also a Asus Crosshair IV Formula
also 8GB of ddr3 that overclocks extremely well
when all three are paired.

I even have a heatsink to keep all that cool as well (Scyth Mugen Rev.B)

Though I am currently traveling for work and have no idea when I will find the time to package it up and get it out.
