Monitor....What to get?...(and not too pricey)...
Well.... I was going to use my tv as a monitor but after i tested it out...It just didn't cut it.....
Currently I have two LCD monitors....that have a screen refresh rate of 75hz ..... I mean is that decent or should I fork out some more cash and get a better monitor?....

What are the make and model of your monitors?
I recommend getting a Viewsonic VX922. You can get them on Newegg for less than $250 nowdays. They are not wide screen, but they will out perform ANY LCD on the market.

Well one of em is a DELL 1703FPS 17" TFT LCD FLAT PANEL ....not quite sure about the other one.... 25ms response time LOL
Is this at least a decent monitor?.... Hey i like anything as long as it is not a CRT
Comparing it to your monitors mine are crap... Guess its time to fork out some more cash....

Re: Monitor....What to get?...(and not too pricey)...
The reviews used to say don't get an lcd panel that did more than 12ms response time...but that was black-to-black response time...so the industry got sly and started quoting a gray-to-gray response time...for instance, my panel does a 2ms response time gtg...
So, be wary of which response time you are being given...

The VX922 is the lowest true response time... it has been tested and proven.
I must admit, I like the idea of having a 22" wide, but they just dont perform as well as the VX922. You definately want 8ms or less, but 2ms would be the best bet. Read the Tomshardware.com reviews before you decide.
