lol, mine looks almost just like ToxicFTW's. Except I have a briefcase for documents, NVidia monitor shortcut and my immediate games shortcuts (COD4, BF2). I like it clean and completely uncluttered.
I use the hell out of my keyboard shortcuts to get to things
(windows key+D for desktop, windows key+E for explorer, windows key+tab for alt-tab menu, windows key+R for run, etc). Google for a comprehensive list of the shortcuts. Most of the sites that I brought up only have a fraction of them, so look for a master list. Also, you can go into the properties of a shortcut and apply shortcut-keys to it. So when I want to play COD4 I just hit CTRL+ALT+C.
My background is still one of the generic Vista backgrounds (the one with the swerves and lines). No screen saver/sleep/hibernate/power saver. I like it sleeeek. I also dual boot (like a lot of you other guys) to Red Hat.
