Under pressure from state investigators, Best Buy is now confirming my reporting that its stores have a secret intranet site that has been used to block some consumers from getting cheaper prices advertised on BestBuy.com.

I have been scammed like this as well before by those stupid pimple faced kids.

"Although we have an intra-store web site in place to support store operations (including products and pricing), we are reminding our employees how to access the external BestBuy.com web site to ensure customers are receiving the best possible product price."

Well this suprises me. When I was in high school I used to work at one down here. We never had any problems like that, atleast that I was aware of.

I'm sure not every store does it just like not every store has all idiots.
I've had a few helpful people but I've also had some real bozos.

well I know when I was going for a camera that I saved $50 by having it shipped to my from the online version of a company rather than pick it up in the store. Go figure. I even had the option of having them ship it to my store when I could have picked it up (same exact camera that they had on the shelves.)

Though this alternative site thingy is just wrong.

I know. Punky looked up some reviews for me while I was at work....supposedly some of the best ram out there....especially for that price. Also McStrange, I got an all black antech 180B case this weekend at comp USA. 50 bucks after the rebate.
