I built a micro-atx build and have had no interest in mini-itx whatsoever do to it not having much of the market...

...that is, until I saw the bitfenix prodigy series
    Amazon.com: BitFenix OOXKO-RP Prodigy Mini-ITX Computer Case w/ USB 3.0 (Orange): Computers & Accessories

very solid cases, extremely roomy and modular, and you can basically get it in any color.

It also states that it will fit a graphics card up to 322mm in length (12.6 inches), so even the monster 690 would fit.

I am building a mini-itx because I travel so much. I am going to build a computer more powerful than my current desktop, but able to fit within the carry-on dimensions of airlines. I will then attach a luggage cart/roller onto the side of the case.

The monitor and keyboard/mouse and cables I will pad with clothes in my checked bag.....

I think its a rather novel idea to being able to game when away.

Haha yep, same reason I decided to build my micro atx build. Not as powerful as my main rig, but definitely a snappy little gaming rig.

My micro ATX build will blow my old full ATX rig out of the water. I'm doing to to save desk space. My Corsair Obsidian 350D will take up a heck of a lot less space than my Antec 1200 does.

I am proud to report that the GTX 690 sold on eBay for $829.00 plus $19.99 shipping and handling. After fees I will be getting about $750 in my pocket, so at least that pays for MOST of one of the Titans.

The 690 was a great card, but playing Metro Last Light at 2560x1440 with two Titans is just... amazing.

Wow, that is shocking to me. I would never pay more than .50 cents on the dollar for used parts. Most certainly when it's a part that is on the leading edge of technology with the highest original MSRP to start with. Glad you got it though.

And I thought paying $190 for my 570 was expensive...

I used to be able to build decent rigs for how much that single 690 GPU goes for.

I figured I would if I priced it at what the going rate was on eBay. Most of the time, international buyers snag up graphics cards from places where they can't purchase the items at reasonable prices. I guess if you have to pay taxes to import an item, you want to get it for as cheap as possible on the purchase price. This sale went out of the U.S. though.

I missed out by 1 minutes for one that sold for 719.00.

I would love to have a new gpu right now, especially a 690GTX, but I am going to wait a month or so until BF4 comes out.
