Router Suggestions

I have an Asus with DD-WRT on it. I could not be happier with this router. If I was router shopping I would start with the DD-WRT compatibility list. It's that good.

Also whoever said Cisco is going out of business needs to lay off the weed. Those guys almost have a license to print money.

I think everyone here needs to lay off the drugs because Cisco sold its Linksys home networking division to Belkin earlier this year. Linksys = Belkin.

That's still very different from going out of business.

As to the OP, I'd go the with the 68U as well. I had it until it got fried by lightning and loved it.

I'll be looking at an AC band router as well at some point. Was also looking at the Asus one longingly.

And I still have an old Linksys WRT54G in service at home being kept alive and functional with custom firmware from dd-wrt.

Looks like you and I are in the exact same situation. :-)

I'll most likely go with the ASUS with DD-WRT. Probably wait until I see a deal. Maybe Cyber Monday (crossing fingers)?
