    Dell U2713HM

    Is it any good?
i found a lots of reviews and some praise it and others are not to happy with it.
It also says that this kind of monitor shows some backlight bleeding verry often.

Does anyone have this at home and share your opinions.
I have found this monitor for a cheap 400€ with shipping included so before i decide to open up the package of it i want to know if this is a good monitor?
Or should i send it back and order the big brother U2713H?

I have never seen a bad dell monitor. Ever.

I went with the QNix 27" 1440p monitor myself and it also had most reviews stating that there was backlight bleeding on some of them. Mine is perfect. Zero dead/stuck pixels and very very little bleed (meaning I don't see any)...

I would not be worried about a dell monitor. I am still using as a second monitor my last Dell monitor (which was my primary til getting the qnix). And it's still perfect... and has been on 24/7 for ~8 - 9 years.

Krakkens and shit. stop tempting them.

Ew. TN panel. Go for the Dell it's at least IPS. I've got 2 Dell U2412M's and they're wonderful monitors. Only 1920x1200, but the fidelity and color of the images is incredible. Works just fine for gaming.

This is a great panel, but when you are looking for a 27" IPS panel (or other IPS panel), you aren't buying it based on the response time or refresh rate. You are buying it because of the picture quality, color accuracy, viewing angle, and most importantly, the higher resolution that is offered,.

Touche. Lol I wish I had that ASUS monitor, but I already have a 120Hz BenQ monitor. I love this thing.

And from what I've read about the Dell U2713HM, it's a pretty solid monitor. I like how high a res it runs.

I've got the 27" BENQ as well. Picture isn't quite as stellar as an IPS but it's smooth as a baby's butt playing a game at 120Hz. I'm loving mine

I'm looking forward to some higher refresh rate IPS panels to come available with G-Sync compatibility. They are coming, but will likely take more time.

Exactly....i have waited for months for this one to became available :

ROG Swift PG278Q 27-inch WQHD G-Sync Gaming Monitor Spec And QnA | Republic of Gamers

It looks like a nice gaming monitor. But then again i figured out it is going to take awhile so i just went with the Dell.
I have to say i am plesently surprisedby this monitor. The colors are warm and nice and the high resolution of it is just a selling point.
Also purchased the Extra Premium waranty from Dell meaning if the monitor is broke they will replace it within one bussines day.
The premium panel waranty is also a nice addition to it.
